That graphic struck me as really odd because just this past week I had been inspired to watch Sneakers.
For some reason, Marty's jacket letter bugged me, but I didn't know why. Just a lingering visual for no apparent reason.

In Hebrew, the numerals 15 and 16 are not written in the normal fashion because the letter combinations form names of God.
Okay, not exactly. The peculiar thing is that while 15 (yud-hei) spells the name Yah, yud-vav is not an actual name for God. This perplexes people. The best I could dig up (this was some time back, I don't have a link handy) was the opinion that the yud-vav ( יו, 6 + 10 ) combo was determined to be close enough to God's name, so it was given the same respect, changing "16" to tet-zayin (9 + 7).
Here's the first statement on the Hebrew wikipedia page for the letter U:
"The letter U (יו) is the twenty-first letter in the Latin alphabet."
Shines a whole new light on your graphic, doesn't it.
