So what? Have the numbers changed? I highly doubt the percentages have changed much.

just like with what they do with flu, the CDC reports are based on estimates.

https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/cases-updates/burden.html#anchor_1607017283798

from 02/2020-09/2021 their estimate is 921,371 deaths(it’s not close to that - sitting at 803,045 per worldmeters)...and that CDC page was updated Nov. 16, 2021 and some chart was updated 10/02/2021 though I can’t tell what was actually updated.

They also show a table of the same age breakdown but it is by rate per 100,000. No numbers.

and they have a table of the same age breakdown with deaths by pct which is most interesting as I am pretty sure they are estimating vs 921,371 deaths....does that change the percents when based on actual deaths of 803,045 ?

I’m sure not gunna try to back into a number and percents.

This whole reporting thing - to me - turned sideways a while ago.

Be sure to read “How CDC Estimates COVID-19 Deaths” and “Limitations.

Just shoot me.
