Dorchester here. We didn’t have brown bread and baked beans every week but pretty often.
Every time i see those cans on the shelves in the supermarket, i am carried back in time. Im not a bean lover, but those canned ones were pretty good. May have been the molasses in it. The more raisins in the brown bread— the better.
I know! I research every treasure I find in second-hand stores. I had to buy a 500 sf Victorian cottage to showcase what I can’t fit in my house.
Beyond interesting....really, really good. Best if you can grind the cranberries, orange and apple chunky..not fine.
