Cleveland Guardians sounds like a name thought up by a writer who has little imagination or creativity. Most would call that writer a hack.
Not surprising they had lots of people lined up waiting for the store’s grand opening. But how many of them were sports memorabilia collectors speculating the possible, perhaps probable fail the name change may turn out to be, and that such paraphernalia may have value in the future as historical oddities?
Maybe. Does Seattle Pilots stuff have any value? Probably not.
Good question! I got a stash of baseball cards from that era, some Pilots.
