That was my first thought so I looked it up. I had trouble finding info on trial location but Judge Nathan’s court room is in lower Manhattan at 40 Foley Square just over the river from Brooklyn.
I do believe Maxwell was being held in Brooklyn. It could just be a coincidence but “there are no coincidences.”
