It’s amazing that an observation from 200 years ago is so relevant today. I can’t adequately express my admiration for the wisdom and foresight of the Founding Fathers. They may have expected that the right to medical protection was adequately covered under the umbrella rights of “life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness”, and therefore redundant. Does anything personify liberty more than the right to bodily integrity?
