I followed that Nuke disaster intensely - Fukushima Daiichi. 4 of the 6 units were pretty much trashed, and the other two, despite sustaining a lot less physical damage and maintaining some level of cooling, I believe were rendered unusable due to the toxicity of the area after the disaster.
Last I knew there was still leakage at one of the units. Area still toxic for sure...30 -40 yrs before it’s all out of there.
