We have been led to beleive that The vast majority of people getting covid will get mild to no symptoms, that over 99% will survive it fine, with again, the vast majority of folks breezing through it (some needing hospitalization, but the majority surviving). Now the cdc says that 1 in 3 kids will get heart problems?
This la device has been here for 2 years nearly, where are all, the cases? I hav d n there of a single case of a child, with heart problems from covid in our town, but if kids were getting it, you can bet the news woild spread like wildfire. 2 years now, and not a single case that we’ve heard of.

Who are they studying? Is my town an outlier? (Note- I can’t know if kids are getting heart problems around our town, but again, if they were, word woild have spread by now as concerned parents woild have warned others of the dangers of getting heart problems in kids, from covid by now. That’s not something that would stay a secret for long
I don’t treat children, so I can’t respond directly. I only treat hospitalized adults, so it’s obviously an unrepresentative group - but blood clotting especially in small vessels is a huge part of the most severe forms of the disease, I’m not surprised that T-cell responses to spike protein can cause the same thing after vaccination.
