As a taxpayer, you shouldn’t have access to the Internet for reading while at work. I realize that would be more meaningful if the government blocked all sites. Government workers should be working. Use your phone or your own device for private reading. As a private employer, as a private citizen, as an employee that’s what I do. No sympathy.
Issue is, oftentimes you need access to sites that are blocked to learn about legitimate threats (some joker flying in from Yemen) etc.
If you use your own device, it gets confiscated until the case is adjudicated, which may be 3-4 years.
