I wish, though, he’d stop undermining Trump.
OTOH, I wish people would stop beating up Hogan just because he doesn’t like Trump. Trump dishes it out plenty (”nasty piece of...”?), so he should be able to take it.
They say Hogan is the most popular or almost most-popular gov in the country. I know noone hates him here (except maybe the few EverTrumpers), but I can’t believe he gets THAT highly rated.
He’s done good things for Maryland’s economy, he handled the riots well, and he’s been effective in other ways.
I’m glad he’s there with redistricting this year. We won’t have a disastrous gerrymander like last time. (This state had the #1 And #3 most gerrymandered districts in America.)
And there is a lot about Hogan I don’t like. I’ve been a supporter when he is right, which he often is, and a critic when he’s wrong, which he often is.
A friend suggested that maybe he should run for Senator against Van Hollen. He’s not my cup of tea, but he may be about the best a blue state like Maryland has to offer.
