Which is a shame because Republican presidential candidates typically win more counties running up huge margins in western Maryland and on the Eastern Shore. However, they are usually swamped by the heavily Democratic Baltimore-Washington, D.C. axis, which casts almost 75% of the state’s vote.

Trump didn’t need to show up in Virginia. All he had to do was strongly endorse Youngkin. Trump’s supporters took over from there. We, the People, have all the power.
Governor Hogan has done a number of good things in office. He’s the best governor Maryland has had in a couple of decades — maybe several.
He’s also virulently Never Trump.
