We kept a dairy goat for 10 years. At her peak she milked 2 gallons a day. About a gallon normalized output. She ate weeds, brush, and kitchen scraps. She was the best security alarm ever. She got nasty with any stranger stepping foot on the property.

She eventually lost her sight with old age. We shed a tear and ate her in a nice curry and chutney.

Good way to keep your grass mowed, too!
