This is silly. Its not a lie. The Italians are just saying that almost everyone who died had a “comorbidity” as they say in the US. That was acknowledged within the first month or two of the outbreak. The death rate was and is real. It certainly made a lot of people die sooner (sometimes much sooner) than they would have otherwise.
Every time those inflated figures are mentioned in the media they never say that they include deaths caused by comorbidities.
If these were anything but government statistics, the fact checkers would be labeling it misleading and missing context.
They counted people in hospice. Our government said if tested positive but died from some other cause it was still a covid death. You know the test, the one that can find covid in a bottle of coke.
