She has a few crochet patterns on her blog site as well, if you do that.

After years of crochet, I just started knitting seriously about a year ago and I’m really enjoying it.

In addition to the sentimental factor, that Harris tweed jacket sounds fabulous!

Yes, it is. Come to find out it is/was somewhat of a status symbol, mainly in the New England area, amongst the students, academics, etc.

Some wear it casually/sloppily/with patches on the elbows...signifying 'old money', and yes, some fake that too...

I was reading a coach's story about how he was excited to be interviewed for a (football) coaching job, and he 'dressed up' for the interview 'by putting on my Harris tweed'...

There's some good history there, and I feel it every time I wear it.
