So @LeaderMcConnell declared on Fox that the NJ gov race was amazing because Republicans “weren’t competitive” & no one knew who the GOP candidate (Ciattarelli) was but he “almost” won. Crystallizes the entire problem w Natl GOP. THEY WERE COMPETITIVE & DIDN’T KNOW IT…

OR… they wanted @Jack4NJ to be invisible because he’s a Trump supporter. Votes still being counted in NJ for Ciattarelli *race not called.* Also likely recount. If victory is lost it’s because GOP abandoned, they are getting victories *despite* so-called natl leadership.
As McConnell gives intvs behaving as though NJ gov race is already lost *nothing could be further from the truth.* Whoever is on short end will want recount. Where is GOP as initial votes are being counted now? They should be there *now* preparing for a recount.
