A woman with long-haul COVID told me that it was zinc that finally restored her senses of taste and smell. It’s no coincidence that loss of taste and smell is a symptom of zinc deficiency.

I never lost my sense of taste and smell. I have an uncanny sense of smell, can smell things others can’t. My sense of taste went weird, nothing tasted good, lost appetite for months.

Its been two months since I loss my sense of smell and taste and I've stopped taking zinc because you know I've already had Covid. But how wrong that strategy is apparently. One benefit of having no sense of taste is that you can eat foods that once were repulsive to you.
