I think the planet is CO2 deficient.
It may be one of mankinds greatest achievements to release some of that trapped CO2 back into the atmosphere where it can do some good.
CO2’s warming impact levels off at present level, ~400ppm. Above that all you get is more plant growth, explosive growth in some species.
Some of our food plants seem optimized to ~400ppm. Probably just by chance, seed choice by farmers over the decades. But others, most actually, perform better in the 1200ppm range. So much better that food production (if you maintain acreage) will outstrip population by a large amount.
CO2 is not only essential to life (which must bother the treehuggers horribly) but higher levels encourage life.
