I remember when this song came out in the spring of 83, I said to myself, this song really sucks and it bombed.
Now in 2021, it sounds prophetic.

Kilroy killed the band!
Styx jumped the shark with Mr. Roboto .. a couple of years before the phrase "jumped the shark" even entered the lexicon of popular culture.
The creative differences between DeYoung and the rest of the band certainly came to a head with the release of this concept album, headed by this nauseating song.

Went to a Styx concert during the tour where they introduced this song. It was a mind-blowing song at the time and still has that feeling so many years later. Thanks for the posting.
