I couldn’t remember where I heard the term “armorer” before. It was Major Boothroyd (”Q”) in the James Bond movies.

Upon being shown the enhanced showroom features of the new DB5.

The original Q from the old Bond films was usually some of my scenes.

I would probably act in a similar manner.

It’s a common term in both military an police circles. It signifies someone who handles and maintains firearms for a given entity. It falls just short of “gunsmith” which represents a more involved understanding of firearms. I know because I was one.
