Hannah Gutierrez-Reed, the 24-year-old armorer who handled weapons on the set of Alec Baldwin’s “Rust,” was the subject of numerous complaints on her previous film just two months earlier after she discharged weapons without warning and infuriated star Nicolas Cage, a crew member told TheWrap.
Stu Brumbaugh, who served as key grip on the Cage Western “The Old Way” this summer, told TheWrap that Gutierrez upset both Cage and other crew members on the Montana production by failing to follow basic gun safety protocols like announcing the arrival and usage of weapons onto the set.
After firing a gun near the cast and crew for a second time in three days without warning, Brumbaugh said that Cage yelled at her, “Make an announcement, you just blew my f—ing eardrums out!” before walking off set in a rage. “I told the AD, ‘She needs to be let go,’” Brumbaugh, adding, “After the second round I was pissed off. We were moving too fast. She’s a rookie.”
It was only after alerting his superiors that the production needed a more experienced armorer who did not make these kinds of basic safety mistakes that he learned it was Gutierrez’s very first movie.

You did, but not sure why you would mention anything wrong with Cage getting really angry when this happened.
And for a big bucks actor to potentially have their hearing damaged by recklessness is yet another reason he would go totally justified being angry .
She also has a tiktok channel dressing and dancing like a whore.
She seems way underqualified for this type of position, especially with her cavalier attitude and false sense of expertise. Her photos of her handling guns looks like she has no respect for safety. Either way, Baldwin is ultimately responsible for her.
Because he is an unhinged Leftist...same as Baldwin.
Ewww no-one wants to see that. At least whores tend To be attractive.
Exactly.
Baldwin cocked the single action pistol, aimed the gun at the cinematographer’s chest and pulled the trigger while rehearsing.
The gun didn’t just “go off”.
He pulled pulled back the hammer, aimed at her chest and pulled the trigger and blasted her.
It’s not Citizen Kane or Godfather, but I enjoyed it.
Especially if you have nothing in your queue.
Anyone who holds a gun like that should be nowhere near guns. A gun is not a freakin’ fashion accessory.
Not really.
One movie I finally saw completely was the 1954 color Dragnet.
I liked it.
Am home for a bit recuperating from some emergency surgery last week.
.
There seems to be a serious dearth of articles saying how Diva Baldwin acted on sets and have more demands than Hillary Clinton at a Spa.
Baldwin is known to be a demanding, entitled Hothead

koolaide haired girl playing wi guns... what could possible go wrong?
Actor was Desmond Llewelyn. No one could surpass him.
P.S. Something was wrong with your post line.
I’ll have to check that out.
Take care of yourself and get plenty of rest.
Face looks like Roseanne Barr only with blonde hair.
M’s could come and go but as long as Desmond was in the movie, there were always good bits of his.
If you use Roku, it’s buried in there somewhere.
For me it showed up by scrolling around.
You’ll love the concealed long lasting tape recorder used that’s given to the undercover police lady.
It’s a common term in both military an police circles. It signifies someone who handles and maintains firearms for a given entity. It falls just short of “gunsmith” which represents a more involved understanding of firearms. I know because I was one.

She is an incompetent bimbo rising on her father’s reputation. Legalities aside, she didn’t belong on the set, or in that job. Hollywood fail.
Thanks, I’ll check it out for certain.
Normally I’d agree with you but in this case I see it a little different. If I’m the armorer and I’m held 100% responsible for the condition of that weapon I don’t want anybody messing with it. If anybody so much as opens the loading gate I’m shutting things down and rechecking the weapon. Kind of like being held responsible for the cash register but having to let somebody else use it. If I’m held responsible I’m the only one touching it. If I hand you that weapon I have to guarantee it’s 100% safe, anybody else mess with it all liability is off. Seems this weapon went from the armorer, to the assistant director to the actor, that’s too many hands.
