Huma Abedin reveals in her forthcoming memoir that she was sexually assaulted by an unnamed U.S. senator.
She said the incident happened sometime after Donald Trump’s 2005 wedding to Melania, which she attended.
She was working in Washington DC for Hillary Clinton, who was a senator for New York from 2001-9
Abedin did not specify which party the senator came from or provide any identifying details.
She said the alleged assault came when the senator invited her up for coffee after a dinner between senators and aides.
