The director handed a live ammo gun to Baldwin, telling him it was “cold”.
Baldwin was the usual a-hole waving it around and shot the cinematographer.
Sounds like between takes.
The armorer (crew member responsible for gun safety) probably never checked the gun.

Also wasn’t there a change in some of the crew just prior to this incident?
