He was too important to learn that little tidbit during the course of his dungheap of a life, and now a young woman has paid for his arrogance and stupidity.
Let's go, Alec!!
I hope we get some follow up. Even blanks can be dangerous. But the media calls this a “misfire” yet it doesn’t sound like a misfire. Two people shot at least one woman dead. That’s not a misfire. Someone screwed up big time.
It wasn’t even the actors who were shot during shooting of a scene. It was someone behind the camera who is dead. A lot of things don’t add up here. Maybe a mistake. Maybe horsing around.
Nobody taught these people that all guns are loaded all the time. I support creative arts, and this is commercial creative arts. But something doesn’t add up. If I was in charge of making a film, the guns used wouldn’t even be chambered for any type of “normal” round. I would use a custom blank that only fit custom guns for movies. I wouldn’t use regular .45 or 9mm chambers. Almost nobody watching would know the difference. And with CGI for a lot of “art” (which is really just commerce, not art) a live-fire weapon isn’t even necessary.
