Cat just brought me a present. Thankfully it was only a 5 inch lizard.

Yesterday the cat brought home a six ft black snake. Put it on the Lanai. The First lady goes, what’s that!? So,
We get the cat into the house, and I know the snake is pissed off.
The First lady works at the church and had this grabber thing. Worked great, no harm to the snake.
So, I picked up the snake, grabbed it’s head and did a quick triage.
Two bites near it’s tail. So I released it and figured everything would be okay.
I saw it today.

One night, during my Senior year of High School, I was on my bed studying. My bedroom window was open.
My cat jumped into my room, onto my bed and proceeded to jump on the floor. I was reading but, out of the corner of my eye, I could see something in his mouth. It was a snake.
I screamed bloody murder because I possess an irrational fear of those horrid creatures. It terrifies me to even look at pictures of them.
Anyway, my mom and stepdad came running, My stepdad killed the snake. It was a Brown Rattler. Suffice to say, I did not sleep well that night.
You are lucky your cat’s gift was only a lizard:)
