Social Media is hastening the downfall of our civilization. Anonymity is the root problem.
FB is not all that anonymous and can keep family and friends in touch, but does censor. Twatter is the main problem. Then you have Instagram and now Tic Tok where every super-ego or low self-esteem needs to post some inane photo/video. Yes, I know, some videos can be entertaining. My wife watches dog videos all the time.
Point is again, anonymity just fuels hatred and the growing division.
