Fed contractors get tested in addition to having to have shots?

So Fed Contractors (those of us who work for a company that has a contract with the Federal government) can either get the jab or submit to being tested. I sent in an exemption (that I pray is accepted) so I'll have to be tested but won't have to take the jab (yet).

Are the Fed civilian employees the ones that work for defense contractors?

No, they are the non-uniformed employees of the Federal government (i.e. most of the Federal government employees).

Sorry for the confusion. Hope this clears it up.

I thought the defense contractor/fed contractor employees didn’t have a test option.

I thought the only employees that had that option were the private companies with 100 or more employees.
