This is exactly the same for us. My husband is filing for religious exemption also, but like you doesn’t expect to get it. He just celebrated 35 years with the same company in September. Very sad. This will change everything for us too, but you can’t follow Christ and not suffer.
Amen. No Cross no Crown!
A very interesting bit of readings for Mass this past Sunday and this is how you know the Lord talks to you -
Second Reading: Hebrews 4: 14-16 Having therefore a great high priest that hath passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God: let us hold fast our confession. For we have not a high priest, who can not have compassion on our infirmities: but one tempted in all things like as we are, without sin. 16 Let us go therefore with confidence to the throne of grace: that we may obtain mercy, and find grace in seasonable aid.
Gospel: Mark 10: 35-45
42 But Jesus calling them, saith to them: You know that they who seem to rule over the Gentiles, lord it over them: and their princes have power over them. 43 But it is not so among you: but whosoever will be greater, shall be your minister.
I asked the Lord for a sign, as I was torn about what to do, not knowing what the readings were going to be. He gave me the sign of what to do.
