But he’s not wanted for murder..
He’s wanted for credit card fraud..
They may want to question him for murder, but bringing the entire justice system down on him, including the Marshalls and swat team?
Someone’s going to get killed, and last time I checked, credit card fraud does not rate the death penalty.
The couple that this story is about were very lucky. They could have been dead.
If that doesn’t frighten you, well....
Not a question of being frightened.
Do I think he’s guilty? Absolutely
However.....
The media, with a willing public, has already convicted him. So, as far as anyone is concerned, especially law enforcement, he’s a murderer, until proven otherwise. Ergo, they will act as though he is.
When this all started there were families all over the country wondering why their family member, who was also murdered, wasn’t getting as much attention as Petitto and Laundrie were getting. And everyone of them was right to question that.
What is/was going on with the current administration that needed to be swept away, forgotten about, swept under the rug, ignored? I have no idea.
And you’re right, someone might get killed or injured as a result of this. And that will be, perhaps, the saddest part of all of this.
Again, I wasn’t in on the Marshal’s operation. I have no idea how much due diligence was done. Lots of ways to take folks into custody without endangering others or them. But, they’re going to do what they do and if something does go sideways, it’ll immediately and easily be blamed on the actions of the “guy that looked like him”. And that is what is to be feared.
