At some point, the number of "anecdotes" collectively belies the notion that deaths or serious illness related to the shot or to getting the CCP virus after the shot is as rare as was originally claimed. For different people the number of anecdotes needed to be considered real data is different.

Although your post #5 was meant to be humorous, I also find it to be a straw man for many of us who will not be getting a shot, and many of us make no personal insults to fellow freepers (Fauci et al are fair game).

I do not like the role that fetal cell lines have played in the development of these treatments. I also believe that there might be some efficacy in the short term in lessening the effects of the virus. On the other hand, there is some risk, I do not know how much, of being injured from the shot itself (blood clots, etc.)

EVEN IF the actual odds of hurting myself from the shot is less than the likelihood of suffering seriously from the CCP virus without a shot, I would rather be hurt by a disease that I had no intention of catching, than to actively put something in my body that caused the problem. My wife agrees with me and feels the same way. Biden and Fauci trying to coerce me Don Corleone style into making the "right" decision only makes me more resolute.

As a Freeper, I hope you can agree that it will be difficult to have a fruitful analysis of all arguments while dissenters are shut up and people are threatened with loss of livelihood and the right to live a normal life if they don't capitulate.

As I read your post, the term “coerce” stood out.

That is the part that makes this different from past epidemics-

draconian measures to try to stop it

egregious infringement on freedoms

refusal to treat early at first symptoms

threatening livelihoods
