The paper was written BEFORE Medjef. No wonder there’s no citation.
The point of the article is that it identifies an organism that appears to be the same one that Madev showed images of. The article could have been written a 100 years ago and it would still make the point.

There was never and will never be a reference to Medjef in that article. Don’t you understand the basics of citation? The fact that this article could have been written 100 years ago and still be valid for our purposes?
