I used to have to get a flu shot because I volunteered at local hospitals with a group called Mended Hearts. When COVID came around, our chapter folded because we were no longer allowed to visit heart surgery patients.
I started using that line several months ago, to highlight the fact that a lot of COVID deaths were actually flu deaths, ‘cept the hospitals probably got a lot more money by putting COVID on the death certificate.
