Covid vaccines generally cause you to get somewhat sick now in order to generally prevent you from getting very sick latter.

Isn't the number one purpose of a vaccine to prevent you from contracting the disease in the first place? In fact, isn't that what the Pfizer vaccine says on its label - to prevent COVID-19.
Didn't FJB promote a video with him stating "Vaxed, not masked! Vaxed not masked!" as a carrot to get the vaccine since then we could all return to normal?
Weren't we told en mass that we should get the vaccine to keep our family and othes safe as we wouldn't spread COVID if we were vaccinated?
Weren't we told we would not be hospitalized or die if we got vaccinated?
Weren't we told that we needed to be 65% vaccinated then 75% vaccinated then 97-98% vaccinated in this country to be at an acceptable level?
Weren't we told that COVID lives on surfaces for 5-7 days and much longer than typical viruses?
Weren't we told that closing the border to China was racist?
Weren't we told hospitals were being overwhelmed and ICUs are beyond capacity in many hospitals?
Weren't we told that we should wear gloves to prevent the spread of COVID?
Weren't we told there would be no mandate of vaccines?
Weren't we told that masks and social distancing was based on science?

Then it is not a vaccine. Vaccines stop infection and thus transmission. Of course we all know that don’t we.
The word "generally" is doing a lot of work in this sentence.
Please just stop it. This is not a vaccine and you know it. If they felt the need to change what a vaccine is, then it isn’t a vaccine.
Another lie is that people who do not want this particular shot are anti vaccines of all types. That is misinformation and just plain wrong.
