Lotta static on this push but I think I heard “Shot. Over.”

Meaning: I cannot know for sure because I do not have a clear signal, but I think it's on the way.

It has been said Nothing can stop what's coming At the top of the trajectory gravity takes over.

Please forgive the arcane metaphors. I forget myself.

That’s what I figured you meant. Because I can bee thick, I wanted to verify. Arcane or not, it was poetic and appreciated. Gravity takes over. haha

Reminds me of the saying “quantity has a quality all its own” or something like that.

"Shot over", means that artillery or a naval gun has fired a support mission. The 'shot' may contain multiple rounds.

The thing you want to listen for is "Splash, out". This is sent 5 seconds before estimated impact.

It either tells the troops to get their heads down or for the forward controller to get eyes on target. The controller can issue a correction, call for more fire on target, or report target destroyed.
