yes, SheepWhisperer is correct, the retirement funds can be rolled over to another existing IRA or 401k.

Many moons ago I got thrown out of a small (dysfunctional) govt contractor company, and rolled the retirement plan funds over into another existing 401k account.

Check with the HR dept and also whoever does your taxes.

I understand about 4o1K funds…I’ve dealt with that before. I’m talking about an actual, old-school pension fund that was frozen when they stopped funding it around 2009.

I have another pension fund with the airline that was taken over by PBGC during bankruptcy. But I resigned from that position. I’m guessing I’m going to get fired from my current company when I refuse the jab. Just wondering if that affects this pension.
