The Chi-coms haven’t thought this out very well. The USA is China’s largest trading partner (by far). China can’t feed their own people. As an example, about a year ago they had a massive swine flu epidemic run through their hog population. They had to cull 60 million head. China needs the USA to survive. Six months without US food imports of rice, soy beans and animal protein will result in massive famine (again). The last thing the Chi-coms need is 40 million peasants flooding into their cities looking for food. If China is serious about wanting a war with the USA I hope they like eating bark. Maybe they could get a few pointers from the little pot-bellied Gargoyle in North Korea?
I agree with much of what you say. I think there is a lot to be said about the limitations of the criminal mind.
However, I have also thought that the trade with the US may be coming to a head in China. The US dollar was becoming worthless even before Biden. China was plowing its worthless IOUs from the US into expansionism in Africa and South America. If China’s money became the world currency they were angling for, America’s debt and value as a trading partner would go up in smoke, I would think.
In any event, China is probably on one of those “5-year-plans” and is committed to the outcome.
