A penalty against a spouse for non compliance with an employer vaccine mandate is a punitive action only against married persons. Find a court that will look at this as a violation of the discrimination clause, because it only targets married employees. Let’s see what happens.”

not quite the same but still sticks in my craw.

Back when I was working, I had my better angel as a spouse under my group health insurance.
It was cheaper than her having her own insurance under her employer.
My employer started charging an extra fee on top of my premiums for that situation.

Back then I was smoking and they charged an extra fee for that because smoking added extra health care costs...
I asked if they were charging an extra fee for gay couples cause HIV\AIDS adds extra health care costs...
crickets chirped.

I johnny paycheck’d them a few months later.
