To post the “angle brackets” or less-than and greater-than symbols, the HTML code is
& lt and & gt; respectively, e.g. << img src="https://blahblahblah.com/img.jpg" <> That shows the format of the code without it turning into an actual link.

Well, it’s not a trick, but there is some HTML blocking on this website. I had to change the font to make some of the codes display; < would continue to display as < even after I put & before it. Try switching to the courier font, which is not MS truetype.
