Couldn’t agree with you more and to think there was a time I would have voted for him for our 1st black President.
We know so much more now than we knew then.
Without a doubt he would have been a better President, even with what we know now, than that other 1/2 black who did become President.
Powell died from Covid “complications.”
Would that be possibly Covid pneumonia?
Why don’t they say so?

There was one more thing I wanted to say about Colin Powell.
Remember the outing of Valerie Plame (she was never outed-she went to work at the CIA everyday in a convertible and hadn’t been a field agent in years)?
Scooter Libby almost went to jail, and Karl Rove was perp walked over it, as they were thought to be the sources of the original leak.
But the source of the leak was Powell’s deputy, Richard Armitage, and Powell knew that from the beginning and kept his mouth shut for over three years, while innocent men were faced with ruin.
Another Deep State operation, in which Powell knowingly participated.
So, the wails of grief over this perfumed prince are almost laughable today.
