At the age of 84 Powell may have very well had other problems too.
However, at 81 my BIL has a ton of medical problems and seems to be holding his own, praying, after an antibody infusion.
They can try.

Colin Powell was our first woke general.
Norman Schwartzkopf was our last Patton-type general.
Both came into prominence in 1991, in the Persian Gulf War, which he stopped after four days.
Powell would not allow the finish of the destruction of the Iraqi Army along the highway of death because it was so “one-sided”.
He did not capture Saddam Hussein and put an end to his murderous reign. Just like his Globalist boss, Bush Sr., wanted.
And when Bush Sr. betrayed the Marsh Arabs by encouraging them to revolt against Saddam Hussein and then allowing them to be slaughtered, Powell had nothing to say.
That and his ridiculous assent to the “no-fly zone” over Iraq caused us to wear our our planes for the next 12 years while Iraq took daily pot shots at our pilots.
Like he was an enabler to Bush Jr.’s father, he enabled the younger Bush to get away with the invasion of Iraq by going to the UN as Secretary of State in 2002 and swearing there were “weapons of mass destruction”.
Just like we couldn’t find Osama bin Laden, we couldn’t find those weapons nor Saddam Hussein, until sometime later Hussein was captured.
Then Obama came on the scene and Powell did not have to pretend to be a Republican anymore.
And now, his last service to his Globalist masters was to die of COVID at 84, 8 years past the average American male life expectancy, while being “fully vaccinated”. Another “statistic” in favor of the endless booster shots to come.
Colin Powell was a globalist general, not an American general. Like Bush the Elder and the Younger, he did not serve America, he served the Elite.
With the blood and treasure of the people he commanded.
His fame and money came at the expense of others while he sold out America time and time again.

Pretty sure he had other serious medical issues—I have read about him having bone marrow cancer.
But he died of COVID.
