Keep an eye out for when they tell you that you need a new Shingles shot. Supposedly the old one is no good and you should get the new “2 shot” shingles shot. You are thinking mRNA shot .... yep.

I should have added that I got a tetanus shot (May 2021) for a stupid thing I did (mashed foot with bike kickstand in the dark) but the gal nurse just came into my exam room with a syringe - I don’t think it was the vaxx because I had absolutely no symptoms, not even a sore arm, afterward.

Tetanus never bothered me. Once in the USAF after stepping on a nail that penetrated my combat boots too easily for my comfort, another after doing something really stupid while working loading trucks (pinched the hell out of my hand with a load-retaining bar bad enough to require a Doc-in-the-Box visit), and once as a requirement for Trail Life as a leader.
