I know two co-workers that the hospital sent them home with no treatment (told them to come if they were having trouble breathing). One died and one got walking pneumonia and was on the brink of death. The employee that died infected his wife and she died too.
None of these three were offered treatments that could have saved their lives. And yes, there are several life-saving treatments and doctors / hospitals are doing a lousy job and killing people through willful rejection of know treatments.
Monoclonal antibodies are the only proven treatment. If you get a positive test, you get sent home and told to monitor oxygen.
