You are in the car. You open the door and hit the lock button on the fob, but leave the key fob in the center console (distracted by whatever). You get out of the car and close the door. You are locked out.

Except many cars now have a code panel outside the car that will unlock the car.

You’re right. Don’t care for him at all, but this is a just a simple guy locks keys in car. I did it once. Learned my lesson.....do not get out without the key. No big deal.

I think Jebbie built a new house near the residence of his late parents.

I’m assuming the main house is jointly owned by Jeb and his brothers and sister, but I don’t know for sure.
