About eight days (on average) after the first shot, your chances during a infection start to significantly improve. In my view, getting vaccinated was the strongest protection that you could add.

I know that you have heard it before, and I trust that you have tried repeatedly - but this situation gives you a serious motivation to adopt improvements to diet and exercise, and reduce the fat load on your system. It might be a blessing in disguise. Really, the only way to fail, is to quit trying.

Thank you. Yes we do a lot together and I have a treadmill now to help. I’m 55. I am also a chemist by profession so it took some time for me to come to the conclusion I needed to study this and take the plunge. And yes I need to keep working on my physique. I didn’t get this way overnight and it won’t go away overnight.

Thanks for keeping these posts going. I had hopes this damned thing would just fade away but it’s here until the mutations shift more towards common cold coronaviruses.
