I didn’t have any symptoms to write home about either. They say the second shot is more likely to produce flu-like symptoms, but not for me. I planned a day off, just in case, and enjoyed the rest.

I got my first Pfizer shot last week of July - side effects were a slightly sore arm and extreme tiredness that night.

I got the second shot mid-August and later that night had chills, and extreme shivering for about 2-3 hours. I took Tylenol assuming I had a low-grade fever (didn’t take my temperature) and was able to go back to sleep. My arm was very sore.

The next day I had a headache and was lethargic. No appetite at all but did keep myself hydrated and took Tylenol every six hours. Slept most of the day into the night.

Woke up the next morning and felt fine, no headache, no lethargy, just a slightly sore arm.

It took me awhile to decide to get the vaccine. Part of my decision had to do with Beau’s daily thread and the posters who contributed to the discussion both pros and cons.
