Before our super-expensive ‘designer-drugs’ came out, people with arthritis would take huge amounts of aspirin. They’d end up dying due to the aspiring burning a hole in their digestive tract, or something like that, but they NEVER died of cardio-vascular problems. That level of aspirin simply solved everything in that system.
So it makes sense to take aspirin, just not in the amounts they took nearly 100 years ago, when they were suffering greatly.
