A story for your “Saints of Newark” ping list.
Is that any different than fans of Rocky Horror Picture Show showing up in fishnet stockings?
Haven’t heard the background song ‘Money’ since the 80’s.
I don’t understand this lionization of a family of criminals.
Or maybe I do, but it’s an ugly story. Part and parcel of the decline of America.
Where’s the gabagool?
All In The Family was the last TV show I watched outside of news—mainly local news.
I’ll wait for the 3-minute version on The Pax Network.
The whole family should have gotten whacked at the end. What a disappointment.
Yes, but was it one of several good episodes, or was it one of the fifty-or-so unwatchable episodes featuring Tony’s ugly sister, or one of the countless beyond-boing episodes featuring the crime boss spilling the beans to a female shrink?
Wonder when it opens on HBO Max.
Did they have rap music back in the old days?
That alone would keep me from watching!
To be added or dropped from this pinglist, freepmail Albion Wilde.
“Woke up this morning, watched myself a film.”
Very good!
We’re excited to see this once our quarantine is over.
Just saw it. Rather disappointing.
Saw it last night. One big “meh!”
Mostly nothing happens, and the main focus actually seems to be the civil rights movement. Of course they went woke. To expect anything else these days is a fool’s errand.
I watched it last night, in a word, TERRIBLE.
I can’t begin to describe this mess, acting and storyline horrible, if your looking for the history of the Soprano’s this isn’t it. I had thought the story would center on Tony’s father and uncle Junior, but no that wasn’t it. Then they threw a storyline in about the race riot in NYC in 1967 and a black gangster that added nothing to the story at all.
For all the praise he got, Michael Gandolfini was a not only a waste but is a terrible actor himself.
If your a hard core Soprano’s Fan take a REAL HARD PASS ON THIS CRAP!
A major disappointment
