President Biden recently announced forthcoming federal safety regulations mandating vaccines against COVID-19, or weekly testing, for an estimated 100 million Americans. The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) will draft the regulations over the coming weeks, which apply to employers with more than 100 employees. Not sure how Emperor Biden’s edict is going to play out. I am also curious about the millions who work remotely from home. I guess if they test positive - they will stay home.
Biden hasn’t any authority over any of the nation’s teachers.
It must be noted that federal contractors (read defense industry) will not have the option to test weekly.
And does no one find it crazy that the mandate is only for working folks? On welfare, no problem no mandate for you.
It is like they are trying to weaken America, get all the soldiers and those that have the know how to produce the weaponry, to quit.
Almost like they planned for this…….
A very small percentage of the work we do is defense-related. Not sure how the boss will handle this. We are under the 100 employee limit and otherwise exempted. We haven't booked any new government work since this OSHA gambit was announced. But if this is enforced on our company due to our existing contracts we're going to lose about 25% of our workforce.
I am vaxxed but leaning against getting a 'booster'. If that becomes part of the OSHA requirement I may just retire.
