I was in a convenience store the other day and was completely confused. I was trying to figure out if this woman was in line or not. She must have been 15 feet away from the register/counter. After asking her, she reluctantly said she was but standing far because of social distancing.
I’m normally patient. But I let out a ‘oh for goodness sakes. You have a mask on. You’re probably vaccinated. And this’ - and I motioned with my finger to the enormous space.
Most people have finally calmed down with this nonsense. She took it to another level.
I see people like that, too.
The mask wearers while driving and walking alone by themselves in the broad daylight.
The people wearing them alone in their car with the windows rolled up.
And people who have toddlers masked to the eyeballs.
I cannot fathom living in that kind of fear all the time.
