I don’t think it’s hypocritical to be opposed to mandatory masking for all and leaving it up to the individual to decide when they wish to minimally protect themselves with a mask in high risk situations.

The airlines won't let you on the airplane without a mask. It's a federal regulation so if you want to fly you have to wear a mask.

You can be completely against mask mandates and still have to wear one if you want to fly.
