I got to hold my oldest grandaughter a couple of hours after she joined us.
When she was trying to form words I pointed to my wife and said “Grandma” and she came out with “Meema”.
I pointed to me and said “Grandpa” and she came out with “Peepa”.
That’s where it’s stayed ever since.
She’s now a senior in college and I was blessed to be in her life most every step of the way.
